Coming Up at Kingway-Lambton ....
Fitness Workshop April 10 at 2 pm Enhance your balance, stength, and mobility with safe exercises Free Admission ************************************************* Etobicoke Master Gardiners The Arts and Crafts Garden Tuesday, April 15 - 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Following the Industrial Revolution and emerging in the second half of the 19th century, the Arts and Crafts movement incorporated the dedication to recapture the spirit and quality of medieval craftmanship. The 1880's saw a greater appeal of the Arts and Crafts movement to a new generation and the emergence of the notion that there was no meaningful difference between the fine and decorative arts. This led to viewing the garden as an extension of the house, using natural, hand-crafted elements, reflecting the surrounding landscape and creating a strong architectural style of garden. Want to learn more about the movement? Join us!
