Year End Information
Just a reminder that for donations to be included in your 2024 Income Tax Receipt, they must be received by Kingsway-Lambton by noon on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. With Canada Post backlogged from the strike, we suggest you do not mail donations. You can drop them in the mailbox at the Glass Door entrance or use the online options available on our website. If you intend to make a Gift in Kind donation using publicly traded shares or stocks, please start the process with your financial agent as soon as possible so the transaction is completed prior to Dec 31, 2024. Offering Envelopes for 2025 are available for pickup in the hallway adjacent to the Chapel. The Warmth Initiative will be back in January to collect and donate warm clothing to homeless folks in our city! Over the coming days as you do your final Christmas shopping why not add some warm socks & regular underwear to your basket and extend the spirit of giving into the New Year! Thanks. ************ On Sat Feb 22 from 9:00 to 11:00 am join the the Kingsway-Lambton Outreach Team as they walk in support of The Coldest Night of the Year. This is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s change the tune for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there!
