Theme: Our hearts may be anxious as we consider the state of the world around us. What difference is made by Christ being born into our troubled world this Christmas? We will explore why our hope is well placed in him for the peace for which we long.

Our annual Food Drive is run in support of Stonegate Ministries’s Food Pantry (run out of Christ Church St. James on Park Lawn Road).

CHRISTMAS FOOD DRIVE!
(to the tune of Jingle Bells)
 
Dashing through the snow,
To drop off on the way,
Our bags will fill with food,
For Stonegate’s shelves today!
 
The bins are at the door,
Of the church, you’ll see,
The food bank shelves don’t stock themselves,
In our communi-ty.
 
Ohhh!
Cans of soup, granola bars,
Crackers, coffee, tea,
Pasta and tomato sauce,
Oatmeal, rice, and beans.
 
Hey!
Cereal, canned fish and meat,
Canned veg for something new,
All this food will help our friends,
So they can eat well too.

Drop off in the bins at the glass doors

In a lead up to our traditional White Gift Sunday we are collecting new, unwrapped toys over the next week to benefit the children at the Willowridge Toronto Community Housing Complex.
Suggested ages: Pre-K to Grade 8.

Let’s come together through the Outreach and Social Justice Ministry to brighten the holidays for those in need.
