We are gathering at K-L on April 13 to name our values as a church who believes in the foundation of peace, hope, love and joy in our lives, community and world. We NEED your contribution and support to choose our values and move forward.
What to expect: April 13 will be a workshop similar to "Fishing Tips" that was held in September of 2023. It will be led by Rev. Dr. John Pentland from Hillhurst United Church in Calgary, who has been guiding us through our values exercise.
The day will start at 9am with an opportunity to get coffee and a snack. The workshop itself will start at 9:30am, and run to approximately 2pm in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided and there will be breaks throughout the day.
Similar to “Fishing Tips”, as a community of faith we will work through a series of exercises that will culminate in us naming our values. It will leverage the stories that we have been telling over the past few weeks, and consider all of the things that we collectively feel are important to the life and work of Kingsway-Lambton United Church.
